Diario de un Infiltrado [2026]
Spanish filmmaker and journalist Miguel Herberg, driven by his friends Renzo and Roberto Rossellini, infiltrated the far-right Chilean movement between 1972 and 1974. He gathered hundreds of documents, filmed footage, and photographs revealing how the coup d’état in Chile was orchestrated, the involvement of the CIA, and the subsequent period of repression and violence. He managed to capture unique material from the concentration camps of Chacabuco and Pisagua, later bringing it to light and contributing to the release of many prisoners. As a result, Miguel himself was placed on the regime’s blacklist of targets to be eliminated.
Today, 50 years later, Miguel retraces his journey in search of the traces left by those former prisoners, guiding us through an extraordinary story of cinema, espionage, and memory.
