Jorge is a Chilean composer. He has his Bachelor of Science and Musical Arts degrees in addition to a diploma in Music Composition for Films at the Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris, France and a Master’s degree in Latin American Musicology, awarded with maximum distinction by the Alberto Hurtado University, Chile. He recently successfully completed a Diploma of Further Studies from the Film Scoring Academy of Europe, Bulgaria.

He has received 4 Jerry Goldsmith Awards and a Nobel Prize Jerry Goldsmith – Spain, as well as numerous Chilean awards, the FIC-Viña Award in 2009-2010, the Pulsar Award for Best Audiovisual Music in 2015-2017, and his most recent recognitions being the “Silver Medal” for the documentary Shadow Girl at the Global Music Awards, Los Angeles, United States.

Her contributions to cinema have been released on the most important digital platforms in the world, such as the Mini Series Isabel: The Intimate Story of Isabel Allende for HBO Max and Amazon Prime, as well as his most recent work, the series “La Vida es Sueño” for Netflix.
